Connecting Beyond Research: Community Engagement & Professional Networking

Life as a researcher is rich with connections — from spirited debates at international conferences to late-evening discussions at local AI meetups. These moments of human connection are as vital to my work as any experiment or paper.

In May 2025, I had the privilege of hosting a session at the Global AI Jaipur Meetup — a vibrant gathering of AI practitioners, students, and enthusiasts from across Rajasthan and beyond. Events like these are where abstract research meets real-world curiosity. Sharing insights on deep learning applications and hearing fresh perspectives from attendees always reignites my enthusiasm for the field.

Beyond formal conferences, I believe strongly in nurturing an academic community that is welcoming and collaborative. Whether it is mentoring junior researchers, participating in faculty development workshops, or simply being present at departmental seminars, the social fabric of academia is what transforms individual effort into collective progress.

"The best ideas often emerge not in solitude, but in the conversations that happen between sessions at a conference — over chai, at a whiteboard, or walking back to the hotel."

Professionally, the value of networking cannot be overstated. Collaborations on grants, co-authored publications, and interdisciplinary projects have all grown from connections made at events, workshops, and online communities. I am grateful for every researcher, student, and practitioner who has taken the time to engage, question, and inspire.

If you are an AI or tech enthusiast in the Jaipur region — or anywhere in the world — I warmly invite you to connect, attend events, and join the growing community of curious minds pushing the boundaries of intelligent technology.
